The Friends of the New River Library are holding a Big Book Sale in the Meeting Room at the New River Branch in Wesley Chapel. The Pasco County Libraries event page invites residents to come and stock up on gifts, the newest titles or some old favorites. For anyone who likes to browse shelves, hunt for a favorite author or pick up something to give as a present, it is a local event worth planning around.
What is happening
The sale is run by the Friends group and takes place inside the branch, in the Meeting Room. The Pasco County Libraries calendar for the Wesley Chapel and New River branches also carries the sale. Its entry opens with the line "Here it is! The BIG BOOK SALE brought to you by our Friends." Because the sale appears on both the event page and the branch calendar, there are two county pages where residents can look it up.
The event page describes a mix of books: gifts, the newest titles and old favorites. That description is all the verified information says about what will be on the tables, so residents should not expect any particular title, category or selection to be there.
Where it is
The New River Branch is at 34043 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. The sale is in the branch Meeting Room, so once you arrive at the library, look for the Meeting Room rather than the main shelves.
State Road 54 is a main road through this part of Wesley Chapel, and residents who already use the branch for borrowing books or other library services will know the building. Anyone who has not visited before can enter the address above into a map app before leaving home.
Who is responsible
The Friends of the New River Library are the organizers. The calendar entry credits the sale to the Friends, and the event page names them as the group holding it. The sale takes place at a Pasco County Libraries branch, and both of the pages mentioned here are county library pages.
What residents can do
- Open the Pasco County Libraries event page to read the description of the sale.
- Check the Wesley Chapel and New River branch calendar for the sale entry.
- Save the branch address, 34043 State Road 54, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543, before heading out.
- Head to the Meeting Room once inside the New River Branch.
- Think about gifts as well as your own reading, since the event page specifically mentions gifts.
A book sale is a simple way to find reading material and to support a community group at the same time. The pages reviewed for this story do not describe how the sale is funded or how the Friends use what they raise, so this story does not make claims about that. Residents curious about the Friends can ask at the branch.
Dates and times
The verified information used for this story does not include the sale dates or opening hours, and this story does not guess at them. Before making the trip, open the event page or the branch calendar linked above and confirm the dates and times shown there. Those county pages are the official place to find them, and they are the best way to avoid arriving when the Meeting Room is closed.
Payment methods, bag or box rules and any limits on purchases are also not covered by the information available here. If those details matter to you, check the county pages or ask library staff at the branch.
